Question: Why is ceiling height so important in a traditional sauna?
Answer: Because heat rises. To keep the temperature optimal in your room the ceiling height in your room should not exceed 84".

Question: Can you pour water on the heater in a traditional sauna?
Answer: Yes, you do have to be more careful with some heaters that have exposed heating elements. Larger rock based heaters are more conducive for this.

Question: How hot will a a traditional sauna get?
Answer: All of our electric sauna heaters carry either a UL or ETL listing which mandates that the high limit for electric sauna heaters in a 7' high room be 194F at the ceiling level.
