Question: What are the differences between "pre-built", "pre-cut", "outdoor" and "portable" traditional saunas?
Answer:

Pre-Built (Modular) Saunas come in modular insulated panels that are assembled together to form a fully functional room.

Pre-Cut Sauna Kits require that you frame up your own walls and provide your own insulation. Tongue and Groove boards from the kit are provided to attached to the inside framing of your room.

Outdoor Traditional Saunas are exactly like a pre-built's in addition to having a roof package option.

Portable Traditional Saunas are small modular rooms that are capable of plugging into standard wall outlets (15amp or 20amp).

Question: Are the controls for the electric sauna heater mounted on the exterior of my room?
Answer: External controls is part of the upgrade package in the Laatu Pre-Cut Sauna. You may switch this out for a Laatu electric sauna heater with controls built into the heater if you wish.

Question: What is the required door rough opening for the Standard All-Glass Bronze Tinted door that comes with all Laatu Pre-cut Kits?
Answer: The Standard All-Glass Bronze Tinted Door requires a rough opening that measures 27½” x 82¼”.

Question: Are external controls included in the Laatu Pre-cut sauna kit?
Answer: Yes, you have your choice of the analog PSC control or the digital D60 control. Talk to a consultant if you want controls on the sauna heater.
