Answer: Yes, we categorize outdoor separately because there are only certain sizes that have a roof package option.

Question: Do all Outdoor Saunas Need to be Purchased with a Roof Kit?
Answer: No, but all outdoor sauna need to have some type of roof covering/protectant to resist the elements and ensure proper performance. We sell each of the roof kits separately and leave that decision up to the consumer. The roof kits are designed specifically for each brand and model, but due to some restrictions in certain areas (home owners associations, etc.) a custom after market roof modification may be necessary for some outdoor saunas.

Question: What is the best wood to use for a sauna?
Answer: Western Red Cedar is the most naturally resistant to mold, rot, and insects.

Question: What do I need to consider when laying out a sauna?
Answer: All saunas are custom cut to your specifications, you are only bound by the space you have to work with and clearance needed for the heater.

Question: What is the height required for the sauna?
Answer: The heaters are intended for rooms that are seven feet high.
