Question: How do I size a steam generator?
Answer: Mainly steam generator sizes are determined by cubic volume but other factors like choice of tile and exterior walls will influence size of your specific steam generator. You can view sizing calculators on our website or speak with a consultant for assistance.

Question: What is the purpose of the autoflush on a steam generator?
Answer: The steam generator autoflush insures that the unit’s reservoir will be drained after each use.  This will limit corrosion and most likely lengthen the life of the steam generator.

Question: Who can install Amerec steam generators?
Answer: Any licensed plumber or HVAC contractor can do the install steam generators with the assistance of an electrician.

Question: Can we use aromatherapy with the Amerec steam generators?
Answer: All of our steam generators have apparatus to enable useage of aromatherapy be it a simple reservoir to pour oils into to a complete add-on diffuser that does this automatically. This includes the Amerec steam generator models.

Question: Do you hook up cold or hot water to the Amerec steam generator?
Answer: Either will work but hot water is going to produce steam quicker so it is the preferred way to hook up an Amerec steam generator.
